The Gift of a Growing Family

So this month we’re addressing growing your family and siblings…It’s fabulously appropriate for my home now because we’re only a few months away from adding another little person to our collection ourselves. Yep, that Kardeshes are growing. A baby girl is scheduled to arrive in June and we’re delighted.

My sister shared this video with me and I couldn't help but simplify my post for this month and just let this video speak for itself. 

The truth is, as parents, we probably severely over think growing our family to the point of paralysis. I can say this confidently because I’m notorious for doing this in EVERY aspect of my life. For example, I need to find a “big boy bed” for Landon since baby girl is going to commandeer his crib in a couple months. How much time have I spent on this? HOURS. And, not to mention, I've roped my husband, sister, mom, and recently dad into the mix on the decision-making. I might like to pretend that this has something to do with pregnancy brain but I’d be lying. It’s just how I am…

Having Landon I planned to death – and that worked about zero percent for us. With this one we decided to just let things take course. When we found out we were expecting again it was such an amazing surprise and feels like it’s been written in the stars all along.

This video is an adorable depiction of how the gift of growing your family affects everyone and is such a special experience.
