Emergent Curriculum: A Play-based Approach to Early Learning

Daily Digital Reporting
You’ll receive daily reports on what your child eats, their nap times, curriculum activities, milestones and more. Delivering mid-day smiles as well as important insight into your child’s day.
Webcams
Password-protected web cameras are installed in each classroom and provide a real-time video feed of your child’s day.
Nutritious meals & snacks
Children enjoy a hot lunch and three snacks each day, prepared by our Kidco Kitchen — made from scratch with no additives, preservatives, or artificial flavours or colours.
Health & Safety
Every classroom follows rigorous health and safety protocols, tailored to meet local licensing and regional public health requirements. Your child’s well-being is always our top priority.
Families appreciate the serene, private setting surrounded by trees and a quiet neighbourhood. Classrooms feature large bright windows, and the outdoor play area includes wood-chips, separate spaces for different age groups, and plenty of toys.

Meet the Director
Golnar Ghorab
I am Golnar Ghorab, the Centre Director at Brightstart Coquitlam. I received my Bachelor of Art from Tehran Art University and my ECE from Vancouver Career College. I have been working in child care since June 2018 and have been with Kids & Company since September 2022. I am passionate about working in child care because I love to grow and learn with children. Children are unique and it is so rewarding to help educate and guide them during their early years. At Kids & Company, there is always an opportunity to grow, learn, and expand our horizons.
