Meet the Director

Katelyn Casey

My name is Katelyn Casey and I am the Centre Director at the Kids & Company Kingswood location. I am a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator and have been working in child care for over 15 years. My passion for child care is deeply rooted in my own childhood, as I spent my early years in a child care centre where I had an incredibly positive and memorable experience. I still remember my educators and the meaningful impact they had on me. Those early experiences shaped who I am today and inspired me to provide the same sense of care, security, and lasting memories for the next generation. What makes our Kingswood location unique is our strong focus on building connections between home and child care, creating a seamless and supportive experience for every child. We prioritize meaningful relationships between families, educators, and children, fostering a true sense of community. Our centre is highly visual, with classroom documentation that showcases children’s learning and creative processes, and we embrace a child-led approach where programming is based on children’s interests to keep learning engaging and meaningful. We also love sensory play and encourage hands-on, exploratory experiences that allow children to learn through all of their senses.
