Fork Facts
The word “kofta” comes from the Persian word kofté, meaning “pounded” or “ground”— how the protein is traditionally prepared. While often made with beef or lamb, turkey is a lighter, tasty twist!
Palate Profile
Spices! Spices! Spices! Traditional kofta combines warm spices like cumin, cinnamon, and allspice with fresh herbs like parsley. Kneading the minced meat helps infuse these flavours, creating a delicious burst of flavour in every bite!
