Emergent Curriculum: A Play-based Approach to Early Learning
At Kids & Company, we follow an emergent approach to curriculum—a child-centered, play-based way of learning that begins with careful observation of children’s interests, questions, and developmental cues. Rather than relying on rigid, pre-set lesson plans, our educators observe what each child is drawn to and create meaningful, individualized learning opportunities that build on those interests. Daily Digital Reporting
You’ll receive daily reports on what your child eats, their nap times, curriculum activities, milestones and more. Delivering mid-day smiles as well as important insight into your child’s day.
Webcams
Password-protected web cameras are installed in each classroom and provide a real-time video feed of your child’s day.
Nutritious meals & snacks
Children enjoy a hot lunch and three snacks each day, prepared by our Kidco Kitchen — made from scratch with no additives, preservatives, or artificial flavours or colours.
Health & Safety
Every classroom follows rigorous health and safety protocols, tailored to meet local licensing and regional public health requirements. Your child’s well-being is always our top priority.
Families enjoy the beautifully treed outdoor area, which includes private playgrounds in both the front and back of the building for safe and engaging outdoor play.

Meet the Director
Ashleigh Bundock
I’m Ashleigh, the Centre Director at Kids & Company’s Rosedale centre. I hold an Early Childhood Education diploma and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph-Humber, and I’ve been working in the child care field for over 10 years. I’m passionate about early childhood education because I love seeing the joy, curiosity, and sense of discovery children experience as they grow and reach their full potential. The most rewarding part of my role at Kids & Company is getting to know the wonderful families in our community and working alongside our dedicated team to provide exceptional care and support for their children.
