This location has been a cornerstone of the community since 2019. Our outdoor space is designed for real play. With 6 distinct areas, a large climber, mud kitchens, and open green space, children build confidence, creativity, and connection in nature every day.
Meet the Director
Julie Beaton
My name is Julie Beaton and I am the Centre Director at the Kids & Company Waverley location. I graduated with a Level 2 Early Childhood Education from St. Joseph’s College and have been working in child care for over 20 years. I am passionate about creating a safe, joyful environment where children can learn and grow, and I love watching them discover the world around them—whether in the classroom or exploring outdoors. Knowing that I am supporting both children and families in our community makes this work meaningful every day. What makes our Waverley location unique is our expansive outdoor space, which is much more than just a playground. From mud kitchens to large climbing structures and even an authentic teepee, our green space encourages children to be active, imaginative, and engaged as they learn through play. Each day, our team is dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment where children can play, discover, and grow, supported by passionate educators who are committed to their development.
Meet the Director
Lisa Boudreau
I am Lisa Boudreau, the Co-Director of the Kids & Company Waverley location. My journey to early childhood education is a unique one — I spent 25 wonderful years in nursing, working in long-term care with the elderly, before following my heart into a new chapter. I made the transition into early childhood education, graduating as a Level 2 ECE. Throughout my time in child care, I have had the pleasure of working with all age groups, from 5 months to 10 years old, watching each child grow and thrive in their own special way. My dedication to the field led to my promotion to Assistant Director in 2020, and I am now proud and honoured to serve as Co-Director alongside my mentor here at Waverley.
