What she offers is more than skill, it’s passion! Even on the visibly tired days, she shows up with intention and genuine emotional connection. That level of dedication doesn’t go unnoticed by parents, especially those of us who need to feel that our children are truly seen, safe, and supported. At this tender age of two, children are discovering the world for the first time. The educators and caregivers they’re surrounded by play a vital role in shaping how safe, understood, and confident they feel. Miss Japinder lives this truth with such grace. She doesn’t just care for children, she connects with them! And she shows up for my son in ways that matter deeply. Daniella (ON)

Daniella was nominated by a parent as someone who embodies Innovation. The parent shared, “Daniella is an exceptional educator who truly embodies the values of Kids & Company. When we were navigating challenges with our child’s emotional regulation, she immediately stepped in with support. She explained how they use the “Zones of Regulation” in the classroom and even provided additional resources so we could apply the same strategies at home—going above and beyond for our family.

We began using the approach at home in alignment with what was being used in the classroom, and the results were remarkable. For example, when our child enters the red zone, we now know how to guide them through calming strategies like asking for help or walking away. It’s made a meaningful difference in how we communicate and connect as a family.

Whenever we’re unsure about how to best support Theo’s development, Daniella is our go-to person. She always offers thoughtful insights and practical suggestions we hadn’t considered. What stands out most is how approachable, knowledgeable, and supportive she is. Whether she’s helping us navigate emotional conversations or developmental milestones, her guidance has been invaluable.

Richmond Team (BC)

The Richmond team was nominated by a co-worker as someone who embody Diversity. The co-worker shared, “Honestly, I could have picked every single “Kidco Way” value because I feel so fortunate to work with this team. They make my job exactly what a wellness culture promises—fun! And let’s be real—that wouldn’t be possible without the 30 incredible people I work with every week.

I could fill pages with emails, parent compliments, and all the little (and big) things our team does every day. But right now, I just want to take a moment to appreciate them all. We’ve built something special—a true sense of balance and collaboration where teamwork isn’t just a value, it’s how we operate.

Our team always has each other’s backs. Whether it’s surprise coffees and snacks (because caffeine = happiness), offering someone a ride home, or stepping up when things don’t go as planned, our team shows up.

Take Danica, our rockstar kitchen assistant. After already working six hours, she said “yes” to coming back for two more in the evening to help clean when our regular cleaners (not Kidco staff, but still amazing) were on vacation. Every classroom pitched in, and everyone made sure the spaces were clean and ready for the next day. That’s just who we are.

And when it comes to programming, the collaboration is just as strong. We cheer each other on, celebrate every creative idea like it’s an award-winning moment, and genuinely look forward to our newsletter like it’s the next big blockbuster release.

As I said, I could go on forever with examples. But what it all comes down to is this: we don’t just work side by side—we support, uplift, and model the very values we teach our children. And if they’re learning anything from us, it’s that teamwork, kindness, innovation, diversity, courage, optimism, and care can make almost anything possible.“

She played a key role in helping Pavol start his potty training journey and consistently offers positive reinforcement. Her kindness and encouragement make such a difference!“

Daljit (ON)

The parent shared, “Miss Daljit was recently away on a short-term leave, and her absence was truly felt—by my child, the other children, and even the parents! Her return brought back the warmth, enthusiasm, and optimism she brings to the classroom every single day.

Daljit takes the time to listen to parents’ goals or concerns and works collaboratively to support each child’s growth. She often shares thoughtful suggestions and always follows up to see how things are progressing—whether at home or in the classroom.

What stands out most is how in tune she is with each child. She knows their preferences, energy levels, and what motivates them, which allows her to connect in meaningful and effective ways.
