From the very first day, she welcomed him with warmth, patience, and attentiveness. She took the time to understand his needs, comforted him when he felt unsure, and built a trusting bond with him. Because of her gentle approach and positive energy, he quickly became attached to her and now looks forward to seeing her every day. Simran has truly made a meaningful difference in his experience. Her dedication and nurturing presence helped him adjust faster than we ever expected, and we are deeply grateful for the love and care she continues to show. Her creativity, forward-thinking mindset, and ability to bring fresh ideas to our centre have truly elevated the experiences of both the children and the team. Kusala consistently thinks outside the box, transforming everyday routines and learning opportunities into meaningful, engaging experiences. She is always exploring new approaches, materials, and strategies—whether it’s planning unique activities, enhancing the learning environment, or finding creative solutions to classroom challenges. Her innovative spirit brings excitement, curiosity, and inspiration to everyone around them. She doesn’t just introduce new ideas—she implements them with purpose, adaptability, and genuine passion. Her willingness to try new things and continuously improve reflects a deep dedication to high-quality care and education. Because of her creativity and leadership, our centre benefits from fresh perspectives and enriched opportunities for growth. Kamloops Team (BC)

The Kamloops team was nominated by a co-worker as someone who embodies Diversity. The co-worker shared, “We may be a small site, currently a team of six, plus myself and a small supply pool, but what impresses me most is the dedication, resilience, and joy of our staff. They have weathered the highs, such as over-staffing and agreeing to go home early, and now, as a small skeleton crew, they continue to hold the centre together. Through it all, my staff can always be heard laughing and enjoying their work. Their positivity, commitment, and care for the children and families speak volumes about their strengths. Recently, we had a potluck dinner, and the dishes shared reflected my staff perfectly. Each was unique, yet complemented one another seamlessly. I want to thank my team for bringing their individuality to our centre and for educating, protecting, and caring for the children in our care while introducing them to their culture, music, and flavour. A special thank you to our chef, Trevor, who has truly added the spice our centre was missing. Since he joined us, our diverse family feels more complete than ever. Thank you to all of you for bringing your uniqueness, passion, and heart to our team—our family!”

Joyce was nominated by a parent as someone who embodies Optimism. The parent shared, “Many kudos to Joyce, who is a shining light in our daughter’s day. At home, our daughter pretends to talk on the phone and proudly tells me that she is talking to Joyce—so sweet! This month, Joyce has been incredibly patient in helping our daughter with potty training, and we are so grateful for her guidance and helpful tips. She always shares wonderful updates when we pick our daughter up each day. Joyce is an incredible teacher, and it is clear that she genuinely adores each child.
