The love and attention she gives to my child—and to all the children in the room—truly shines through. During my son’s adaptation week, she went above and beyond to ensure he felt comfortable and secure, carefully considering his individual needs. She gave him the attention he needed, showering him with love until he adjusted to the new environment, and he quickly became very attached to her.

Miss Ramandeep remembers important details, like his doctor appointments, and pays close attention to his habits. I always receive thoughtful feedback on how his day went, which is invaluable to us as parents. Her warm smile, patience, and genuine care make a world of difference.

Amanda was nominated by a co-worker as someone who embodies Innovation. The co-worker shared, “Amanda consistently demonstrates innovation in her role as lead 3-5 educator. Through her creativity, proactive approach, and deep understanding of children’s needs, she has introduced and implemented ideas that have greatly enriched the program environment. She embraces the benefits of nature, bringing them into the classroom while surrounding the children with love and positivity. Amanda is a truly wonderful educator who leads with passion and continues to grow in her practice.“

Hannah (NS)

Hannah was nominated by a parent as someone who embody Diversity. The parent shared, “Hannah has been incredibly accommodating to our son, who is autistic. As his preschool teacher, she went above and beyond to ensure the classroom was inclusive and supportive for him. She made sure there were always books at his level and provided extra learning activities in subjects he was interested in. Hannah was also instrumental in helping his transition from preschool to school age go as smoothly as possible. Thank you, Hannah!“

The Milton Team was nominated by a co-worker as someone who embodies Courageous. The co-worker shared, “In early childhood education, courage is not always loud—it often shows up quietly in the everyday decisions made for the well-being of children and families. The Milton team consistently embodies what it means to be courageous professionals. Courage is stepping into the classroom each day with empathy, even after a challenging day. It is advocating for children’s needs, speaking up for what is right, and having brave conversations that lead to meaningful change. It is choosing curiosity over fear and growth over comfort.

At Milton, our educators are more than caregivers—they are leaders, advocates, and changemakers. They model resilience for children, support one another through challenges, and face the unknown with heart and determination. Pranisha (ON)

The parent shared, “Our daughter has been in the infant room for almost a year, and as she transitions to one of the toddler rooms, we are extremely grateful for Pranisha, who has been with her for nearly the entire time. Pranisha always has a smile on her face, treats our daughter—and all the children—with care and attention, and is consistently communicative and helpful with us. We truly cannot thank her enough!
