Welcome to Brightstart Coquitlam, by Kids & Company! 

This location is “by” Kids & Company because it retains the location and building of the previous daycare, BrightStart Children’s Academy. Brightstart Coquitlam was purchased by Kids & Company and now operates with our staff and proprietary programming. 

We are located in Westwood Plateau at the corner of Johnson St. and Panorama Dr., across from the Panorama Height Elementary School. We are accessible by car and transit (SkyTrain and bus), and have on-site parking to make for easy drop-offs and pick-ups. 

Our location is proudly endorsed by Eco-Healthy Child Care®, a program that partners with child care professionals to eliminate environmental hazards in early learning settings with the goal of protecting the health of children and staff.

There are 5 classrooms that can accommodate 81 children from 2 months to 12 years old in our Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and School Age programs. School Age is available for Before and After School care and Summer Camp, while the other programs are available on a full-time or backup care basis. 

Our site is very serene and private, with trees in every direction and a quiet neighbourhood surrounding it. Classrooms have big bright windows, and are equipped with webcams for you to keep up to date on your child’s day. Outside is a play area with wood-chips, separate areas for different age groups, and plenty of toys. 

Our location will soon be offering an optional Kidco Kitchen meal service so that our families may choose to opt-in and receive nutritious catered lunch and snacks each day.

Regarding Open House: Please note our Coquitlam location is available on the first Saturday of every month between 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
