Our beautiful centre is nestled in the Arrive townhome development in Evanston, blending well into the architecture and community. This location is convenient for families living in this new development, or that pass by Symons Valley Parkway NW and 14th St NW on their commute to work.
Our location is proudly endorsed by Eco-Healthy Child Care®, a program that partners with child care professionals to eliminate environmental hazards in early learning settings with the goal of protecting the health of children and staff.
We offer Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, and School Age programs with the option of full-time or backup care. Our 10 classrooms can accommodate up to 140 children ranging from 0 months to 12 years old.
Our interior features large windows and high ceilings to create a fresh and spacious learning environment for our children. Inside each room is a password-protected webcam, as well as educational toys that support our emergent curriculum and learn-through-play philosophy. We also have a large outdoor playground for children to enjoy year-round.
Children are provided with a hot lunch and 3 snacks each day, catered by our Kidco Kitchen. The Kidco Kitchen is founded on a fresh-from-scratch philosophy and our food contains no additives, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Learn more here.

Meet the Director
I am Weiyuan Liang (Vivi), the Centre Director of Kids & Company Evanston. I attended Bow Valley College where I received a diploma for Child Development. I have been working in child care for 6 years, and I have been working with Kids & Company since 2015. In 2011, I was introduced to the child care industry in Canada, and I fell in love with it. I have three children of my own and I love being able to share my expertise to other families. In my spare time, I enjoy having fun with my family doing arts and crafts, and exploring outdoors. I also love travelling with my husband and tasting different cuisines around the world. The Kids & Company Evanston location is filled with passionate staff members who really care about the children. What makes our centre unique is our teamwork and our attention to detail. Kids & Company is always supportive and willing to accommodate, to ensure our families are happy. Now that you know a little more about me, I hope to see you and your family soon!
Kids & Company’s Infant program welcomes newborns up to roughly 15 months. Infants learn about the world around them through their senses, so exploration is critical to their development. Nurturing educators support the children while they take in their surroundings, encouraging them to experience everything the classroom offers; be it creative art, exploring with blocks, listening to songs or engaging in story-time. Our infant program encourages children to follow their own established routines, while becoming comfortable and secure in a new group setting.
Kids & Company’s Toddler program is for children between the ages of roughly 15 months and 2.9 years. Toddlers are mobile and eager to explore their environment. As they strive for independence, our educators use an Emergent curriculum approach to learning that supports each child’s individuality. Some of the most important learning outcomes of our toddler program are language development, socialization, self-help skills, and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Kids & Company’s Preschool program is designed for children between the ages of roughly 2.9 - 6 years. Our educators interact, observe and interpret the interests of our children to encourage discoveries. Our Preschool program provides a foundation for developing greater independence and problem-solving skills; the program integrates new concepts into our children’s world view, promotes sharing and mutual respect, and prepares them for Kindergarten.
Kids & Company’s School Age program accepts children from 5 - 12 years old (Grade 1 - 6) and is available at select locations. Programs include Before and After School Care, School Break Programming, and Summer Camp. Classroom space exists for smaller groups to gather, and activities are designed to meet the needs of varying developmental levels, touching on arts, science, math, drama, imaginative play, and physical fitness. Educators are also available to provide academic support for children that wish to do their homework during After School Care.
