Meet the Director

I’m Natsumi Iwashita, the Centre Director at Little Willows Silver Valley, by Kids & Company. I hold a Bachelor of Education from Japan and began my career as an elementary school teacher before specializing in early childhood education. I am certified in Early Childhood Education (2009), Infant and Toddler Education (2019), and Special Needs Education (2023). I have been working in child care since 2008. I am passionate about this field because I believe the early years are a precious time in a child’s life, filled with meaningful milestones and discoveries. As an early childhood educator, I feel grateful to share in these special moments and to support each child’s unique journey of growth and learning. What I love most about working with Kids & Company is being part of a community that truly values each child’s development and individuality. I’m inspired every day by the children’s curiosity, joy, and personalities, and I feel privileged to partner with families as we help their little ones thrive.
