    • Does Kids & Company offer full-time and part-time care?

      We offer flexible child care solutions ranging from 1 to 5 days a week. Families have the ability to purchase single days of child care to support changing schedules. (Part-time care is available at select locations only.)

    • Does Kids & Company offer half-day programs?

      Yes, many of our locations do offer half-day programs for toddlers and preschoolers. Please go to our Locations tab and check the programs offered area for your centre of choice.

    • What are the ages of children you accept?

      Kids & Company will care for children aged newborn up to 12 years.

    • What are Kids & Company's hours of operation?

      Kids & Company locations are open typically from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Extended hours are available at some locations.

    • Can I visit or take a tour before I enroll my child?

      Absolutely! We typically host Open Houses the first Saturday of every month to allow parents to meet some teachers, see the classrooms, and tour the facility.     • How secure are Kids & Company locations?

      Our centres are located in discreet and secure locations which feature daily video monitoring as well as security staff. In addition, staff members have first aid and CPR training as well as safety and security skills. They also receive ongoing specific training in curriculum development and issues related to back-up care. Photo identification is required to drop off and pick up your child. We also offer parents live access to on-site cameras from our centres via the Internet – parents are given a secure password to login and check in on loved ones. We want to share everything that goes on in your child’s day.

    • My child has special educational needs. Can he/she attend Kids & Company?

      Yes, in almost all cases. Our Centre Directors will work with you to ensure we will be able to meet all your child’s special needs. In many cases, we can even provide back-up care too.

    • Is the Before and After school program available across Canada?

      This is available at select locations, please contact your local centre for details.

    • How much does Kids & Company cost?

      The cost of care depends on the age of your child and the number of days attended. Please contact us at Parents@KidsandCompany.com or at your chosen location for your specific tuition costs.

    • Does Kids & Company provide food?

      Absolutely! Kidco Kitchen provides a variety of nutritional and culturally diverse foods that meet or exceed Food Guide recommendations. Each day consists of a hot lunch and three snacks. Each lunch contains a protein, a carbohydrate, vegetables and fruit servings. Every week Kidco Kitchens serve at least 1 fish and vegetarian meal, in addition to chicken and beef. The food is made from scratch with no additives, preservatives, artificial flavors or colors.

  • Registration and Getting Started
    • How do I register?

      Once you’ve decided Kids & Company is the right fit for your family, you can start the registration process online. Visit our registration page to get started and fill out our Registration Form. If you have questions during this process, you may call us at 905-771-1153 x 1000 or 1-866-MY KIDCO (695-4326).

    • What do I need to bring on my child's first day?

      Before your child’s first day at Kids & Company, you should receive an information packet from your Centre Director. This information will be included in there. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to call us before hand. As a reminder, we provide three yummy, nutritious snacks and a balanced hot lunch for your children.

    • Who will be teaching my child at Kids & Company?

      Professionals in Early Childhood Education who provide an age-appropriate and educational curriculum for children will staff the centre. Our staff members are educated (Bachelor of Education and/or E.C.E.), dedicated, knowledgeable and caring individuals with extensive agency training and police reference checks. The teacher-to-child ratios are very low, beginning at 1:2 or 1:3 for the youngest infants up to 1:12 for school-aged children.

  • Back-up Care
    • What is back-up child care?

      Back-up child care is our emergency care service that you can turn to whenever your primary child care arrangements are unavailable. For example, your nanny or regular care provider may be ill or on holiday. Or perhaps your work requirements change unexpectedly, or your child’s school or daycare is closed.

    • Who can use Kids & Company back-up care?

      Back-up care is a benefit for our corporate-linked families. If your employer is a Kids & Company corporate member, you can purchase back up care days. Some employees may also received subsidized back-up care days as part of their benefits package.
