COVID-19 Updates

Our Continued Thanks

To our front-line workers, from healthcare professionals, essential services and our child care educators, for your ongoing hard work and dedication. To our families, partners, clients and our communities, for coming together to support each other and continuing to practice kindness.

The “Kidco Standard” – COVID-19 Health & Safety Procedures

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kids & Company has put together health and safety protocols based on guidelines from Public Health. Kids & Company has chosen to adopt stringent protocols in all regions where centres are operated. This has been done to protect our families, employees, and children.

The following outlines our “Kidco Standard” — protocols that are practised across all Kids & Company centres. These baseline protocols are built on with specific regional guidance.

Take a peek below at some of the changes you and your child can expect while you’re transitioning back to your centre.

Kids & Company Employee Vaccination Policy

Kids & Company has implemented a Vaccine Policy requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. We have made this choice in order to protect our families and staff, and most importantly, the children in our care who are not eligible for the vaccine.

If a staff member is unvaccinated for any reason, including medical or religious exemption, they are required to undergo Covid-19 testing twice weekly, continue to wear PPE and submit daily health checks, and take other appropriate precautions as required.

An Update on Our Operations Due to COVID-19

In the early stages of the pandemic, some of our centres were closed or open only to the families of our dedicated frontline health workers. Through collaboration with health authorities, we reopened all centres across North America safely and confidently. There are a number of strict guidelines currently in place to ensure the health and well-being of our staff, children and families. Kids & Co has developed a Pandemic Response Team consisting of members from different departments that connect daily and consult with experts in public health, regional ministries and licensing authorities. We also have a proactive communications plan informing families of any updates related to COVID-19.
