We are located in the Shoppes at Jagare Ridge Plaza near the corner of 28 Ave SW and 141 St SW. Situated on the second floor, we enjoy plenty of sunshine and lots of privacy from the retail stores below. There is designated parking out front to make for seamless drop-off and pick-up, and there is a bus stop right out front of our building.
Our location is proudly endorsed by Eco-Healthy Child Care®, a program that partners with child care professionals to eliminate environmental hazards in early learning settings with the goal of protecting the health of children and staff.
This centre has 8 classrooms that accommodate up to 112 children from 0 months to 12 years old. Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, and Kindergarteners can attend on a full-time or backup care basis, while School Age children can attend our Before and After School, Summer Camp, and/or School Break programs. Transportation is available for School Agers to and from local schools at no extra fee.
Inside you’ll find bright rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that are filled with educational toys that support our emergent curriculum and learn-through-play philosophy. Each room is also equipped with a password-protected webcam so parents can stay up to date on their child’s day. Children also enjoy our large, fenced-in outdoor play area throughout the year.
Children are provided with a hot lunch and 3 snacks each day, catered by our Kidco Kitchen. The Kidco Kitchen is founded on a fresh-from-scratch philosophy and our food contains no additives, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Learn more here.
Starting April 1, 2025, parents enrolling children from birth to kindergarten in full-time care across the province will be eligible for a flat parent fee of $326.25 per month, or approximately $15 per day.
Subsidies are accepted in Alberta for families who qualify. Contact the Centre Director for more information.

My name is Ma Joy Salagubang, and I am the Centre Director at Kids & Company Jagare Ridge. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and have been working in child care for 14 years. Working with children is something I truly adore! Watching them grow, learn, and discover the world around them brings me great joy. I believe that when we guide children in the right path from a young age, they carry those values with them for life. What I love most about working at Kids & Company is the sense of home it provides. It’s a place filled with love, joy, understanding, and support, where teachers and staff work hand-in-hand toward the shared goal of shaping the future generation.
Kids & Company’s Infant program welcomes newborns up to roughly 15 months. Infants learn about the world around them through their senses, so exploration is critical to their development. Nurturing educators support the children while they take in their surroundings, encouraging them to experience everything the classroom offers; be it creative art, exploring with blocks, listening to songs or engaging in story-time. Our infant program encourages children to follow their own established routines, while becoming comfortable and secure in a new group setting.
Kids & Company’s Toddler program is for children between the ages of roughly 15 months and 2.9 years. Toddlers are mobile and eager to explore their environment. As they strive for independence, our educators use an Emergent curriculum approach to learning that supports each child’s individuality. Some of the most important learning outcomes of our toddler program are language development, socialization, self-help skills, and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Kids & Company’s Preschool program is designed for children between the ages of roughly 2.9 - 6 years. Our educators interact, observe and interpret the interests of our children to encourage discoveries. Our Preschool program provides a foundation for developing greater independence and problem-solving skills; the program integrates new concepts into our children’s world view, promotes sharing and mutual respect, and prepares them for Kindergarten.
Kids & Company’s School Age program accepts children from 5 - 12 years old (Grade 1 - 6) and is available at select locations. Programs include Before and After School Care, School Break Programming, and Summer Camp. Classroom space exists for smaller groups to gather, and activities are designed to meet the needs of varying developmental levels, touching on arts, science, math, drama, imaginative play, and physical fitness. Educators are also available to provide academic support for children that wish to do their homework during After School Care.
