The Curriculum

Here at Kids & Company we focus on healthy, nutritious meals cooked daily from scratch.  We recognize that feeding young children a wide variety of flavours, textures and colours helps them to become healthy eaters in the future.  We are so excited that our new curriculum program has been rolled out and embraced across the country.  Weekly, our curriculum program allows the children to explore a food group through interactive stories, games, songs, crafts and food tasting. This program reinforces with the kiddies a taste for the different food groups and an excitement for learning about the foods that they are eating!

The curriculum is one that allows children to gain knowledge about where food comes from, learn what the food groups are, gain knowledge about why certain foods are good for their bodies, and to use all of their senses to explore food.   This enhances our mission to expose children to as many tastes and textures as possible while enforcing the idea that learning about nutrition and food is fun and exciting! This way, your kiddies are much more likely to become excited about trying new foods and gaining new experiences.

Not only will your kids enhance their knowledge about food and become excited to learn about it, but in the meantime this program helps to develop their critical thinking skills, expand their fine motor skills, understand how all five food groups are important, discover new foods, understand why it is important to eat healthy being independent thinkers, learn to make their own decisions and deduce from their own senses. This is just another way that Kids & Company shows its dedication to the development of not only healthy eaters, but also of critical thinkers and creative minds!
