Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary Welcome the Kidco Kitchen

After preparing all of last week, creating a new spring menu and ensuring that I had all the materials prepared for my chefs, staff and parents, I was ready to head out to Manitoba and Alberta to show off the Kidco Kitchen menu! These menus exceed both the Canadian Food Guide and Day Nursery Act standards, ensuring that your children receive only the best food and nutrition while spending time in our care. The Kidco Kitchen is founded on a fresh, from-scratch philosophy focused on building children with healthy bodies and minds. We use fresh, whole-grown foods with no additives, preservatives or artificial flavours.

I landed in Winnipeg yesterday morning to a very chilly -18°C! I spent the day at the centre and had a chance to meet the great parents and children of the Winnipeg location. Like I’ve done previously in other Canadian cities, I am hosting (or hosted) “From Kidco’s Kitchen” talks in Winnipeg, Edmonton and at all of the Calgary locations. This gives all of our Kids & Company parents a chance to meet me and learn about all of the great new things we are doing with food in the Kids & Company centres. If your child attends the Edmonton or any of our 8 locations in Calgary, feel free to come out and meet me!

 

 

 

Here’s a look at where I’ll be over the next week-and-a-half:

Edmonton Site: Thursday, April 11th – 7:30am-8:30am

Calgary Bow Trail Site: Thursday, April 11th – 5:15pm-5:45pm

Calgary Sunridge Site: Friday, April 12th – 4:30pm-5:30pm

Calgary Eau Claire, Livingston, London House Sites: Monday, April 15th – 12:00pm-1:00pm (Hosted at Eau Claire Site)

Calgary Smart Tech Site: Tuesday, April 16th – 12:00pm-1:00pm

Calgary Millrise Site: Wednesday April 17th – 4:30pm-5:00pm

Calgary Midlake Site: Wednesday, April 17th – 5:15pm-5:45pm

 

I discuss many different topics such as the new Kidco Kitchen menu launch, assembly, timing, allergies/food restrictions and any other questions or concerns you may have.

I always make a point to talk to all of the staff at each site to ensure we are providing proper food service to your children
