We have 4 classrooms that can accommodate 76 children in our Infant, Toddler and Preschool programs. Children can attend on a full-time or backup care basis year-round.
At Kids & Company, we use an emergent curriculum and learn-through-play philosophy. This means children are encouraged to follow their interests and are guided by our Early Childhood Educators as they learn.
Inside is an intimate and cozy space with large windows and bright colours. Classrooms are full of educational toys and are equipped with webcams so that caregivers can keep up to date on their child’s day. Outside is a large fenced-in playground with 2 climbers and a separate space for infants.
Children are provided with a hot lunch and 3 snacks each day, made by our in-house chef. All meals are based on a fresh-from-scratch philosophy and our food contains no additives, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours.

I am Chrystal Langor, the Centre Director of Kids & Company Larry Uteck. I attended St. Joseph’s College, where I received a diploma in Early Childhood Education. I have been working in child care for 24 years, and I have been working with Kids & Company since 2013. I enjoy all the challenges that I can overcome while working with children. I enjoy that I can be funny and silly and see the children smile ear to ear; I love to see children explore using their ideas. We have amazing staff at this location, and it feels like we are all family. Kids & Company gives their employees many opportunities to grow in their careers and build new skills. Now that you know a little more about me, please come for a visit to see for yourself how Kids & Company can provide the right care and education for your child.
Kids & Company’s Infant program welcomes newborns up to roughly 15 months. Infants learn about the world around them through their senses, so exploration is critical to their development. Nurturing educators support the children while they take in their surroundings, encouraging them to experience everything the classroom offers; be it creative art, exploring with blocks, listening to songs or engaging in story-time. Our infant program encourages children to follow their own established routines, while becoming comfortable and secure in a new group setting.
Kids & Company’s Toddler program is for children between the ages of roughly 15 months and 2.9 years. Toddlers are mobile and eager to explore their environment. As they strive for independence, our educators use an Emergent curriculum approach to learning that supports each child’s individuality. Some of the most important learning outcomes of our toddler program are language development, socialization, self-help skills, and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Kids & Company’s Preschool program is designed for children between the ages of roughly 2.9 - 6 years. Our educators interact, observe and interpret the interests of our children to encourage discoveries. Our Preschool program provides a foundation for developing greater independence and problem-solving skills; the program integrates new concepts into our children’s world view, promotes sharing and mutual respect, and prepares them for Kindergarten.
