Kids & Company’s Statement of Commitment

Kids & Company’s mission is to provide high quality, flexible child care, innovative early learning programs and develop a sense of community and support for our families. While achieving our mission, it is Kids & Company’s goal to respect and uphold the requirements of all legislations, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Kids & Company has a responsibility for ensuring a safe, dignified, barrier-free and welcoming environment for children, our employees, clients, job applicants, visitors and any other individual who enters our premises and accesses our information. We are committed to doing so in a manner that respects the dignity, individuality, independence and value of persons with disabilities. Kids & Company will work to eliminate or minimize the adverse effects of barriers, including physical, environmental, attitudinal, communication, and technological barriers that may prevent any individuals from the full participation as part of our community. We have a variety of policies and procedures in place in order to ensure compliance with the AODA. We have also created a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan that outlines how we are ensuring compliancy with the Act and moving towards a more inclusive environment. Providing an accessible and barrier-free environment is a shared effort, and as an organization, Kids & Company is committed to working to make accessibility for all a reality. For more detailed information on our accessibilities policies, plans and training, please contact the Human Resources Department.
