We are located in the Shoppes at Jagare Ridge Plaza near the corner of 28 Ave SW and 141 St SW. Situated on the second floor, we enjoy plenty of sunshine and lots of privacy from the retail stores below. There is designated parking out front to make for seamless drop-off and pick-up, and there is a bus stop right out front of our building.
Our location is proudly endorsed by Eco-Healthy Child Care®, a program that partners with child care professionals to eliminate environmental hazards in early learning settings with the goal of protecting the health of children and staff.
This centre has 8 classrooms that accommodate up to 112 children from 0 months to 12 years old. Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, and Kindergarteners can attend on a full-time, part-time, or backup care basis, while School Age children can attend our Before and After School, Summer Camp, and/or School Break programs. Transportation is available for School Agers to and from local schools at no extra fee.
Inside you’ll find bright rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that are filled with educational toys that support our emergent curriculum and learn-through-play philosophy. Each room is also equipped with a password-protected webcam so parents can stay up to date on their child’s day. Children also enjoy our large, fenced-in outdoor play area throughout the year.
Children are provided with a hot lunch and 3 snacks each day, catered by our Kidco Kitchen. The Kidco Kitchen is founded on a fresh-from-scratch philosophy and our food contains no additives, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Learn more here.

I am Margie Ymana, the Centre Director of Kids & Company Jagare Ridge. I achieved a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and was a teacher back home in the Philippines. I started with Kids & Company in July 2014 and have worked in the chid care industry for over 22 years.
What I love about my team is like we are family, we treat everyone with respect and humility. We work together in order to provide excellent care. My personal philosophy is “every child is important so they should be treated with care and compassion.”
I have a loving and supported husband Benjie, I am truly grateful for having him. We have a son together and his name is Brayden.

Kids & Company’s Infant program welcomes newborns up to roughly 15 months. Infants learn about the world around them through their senses, so exploration is critical to their development. Nurturing educators support the children while they take in their surroundings, encouraging them to experience everything the classroom offers; be it creative art, exploring with blocks, listening to songs or engaging in story-time. Our infant program encourages children to follow their own established routines, while becoming comfortable and secure in a new group setting.
Kids & Company’s Toddler program is for children between the ages of roughly 15 months and 2.9 years. Toddlers are mobile and eager to explore their environment. As they strive for independence, our educators use an Emergent curriculum approach to learning that supports each child’s individuality. Some of the most important learning outcomes of our toddler program are language development, socialization, self-help skills, and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Kids & Company’s Preschool program is designed for children between the ages of roughly 2.9 - 6 years. Our educators interact, observe and interpret the interests of our children to encourage discoveries. Our Preschool program provides a foundation for developing greater independence and problem-solving skills; the program integrates new concepts into our children’s world view, promotes sharing and mutual respect, and prepares them for Kindergarten.
Kids & Company’s School Age program accepts children from 5 - 12 years old (Grade 1 - 6) and is available at select locations. Programs include Before and After School Care, School Break Programming, and Summer Camp. Classroom space exists for smaller groups to gather, and activities are designed to meet the needs of varying developmental levels, touching on arts, science, math, drama, imaginative play, and physical fitness. Educators are also available to provide academic support for children that wish to do their homework during After School Care.
