This Lower Lonsdale location is near the intersection of Chesterfield Ave. and Esplanade E. We are a short walk from the Waterfront Park, Lonsdale Quay and Seabus. Those travelling by car can use our 4 designated parking spots for pick-up and drop-off, and those travelling by transit will find multiple stops nearby.
We have 6 classrooms that can accommodate 80 children from 0 to 5 years old. Our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs are available on a full-time or part-time basis.
At Kids & Company, we use an emergent curriculum and learn-through-play philosophy. This means classrooms are equipped with educational toys and Early Childhood Educators are there to readily guide children as their interests emerge. Classrooms are also equipped with password-protected webcams that parents can access throughout the day.
Inside our centre is bright and open, and outside is a sunny and spacious playground for use year-round.
Children are provided with a hot lunch and 3 snacks each day, catered by our Kidco Kitchen. The Kidco Kitchen is founded on a fresh-from-scratch philosophy and our food contains no additives, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Learn more here.

Meet the Director
My name is Natasha Sullivan, and I am the Centre Director of Kids & Company North Vancouver. I obtained my ECE certificate at Fanshawe College, and I also specialized in autism and behavioral sciences. I have been working in child care for almost 14 years. Prior to working in a child care setting, I ran summer camp programs for children in my hometown. I am passionate about working in child care because I love shaping the young minds of the future. I admire how innocent and curious children are, and when they ask questions, it reflects genuine curiosity. I am also a child at heart, so what better way to stay youthful than by surrounding yourself with children and their laughter? I appreciate the diversity at Kids & Company and enjoy meeting families, children, and staff from all over the world. They all offer various perspectives and insights, and being able to connect with each of them is truly eye-opening. Over the years, I have met numerous families and formed strong bonds with them. Additionally, I value the flexibility that Kids & Company offers. When it was time for me to relocate from Ontario to British Columbia, I was able to do so with ease and without any concerns about job security.
Kids & Company’s Infant program welcomes newborns up to roughly 18 months. Infants learn about the world around them through their senses, so exploration is critical to their development. Nurturing educators support the children while they take in their surroundings, encouraging them to experience everything the classroom offers; be it creative art, exploring with blocks, listening to songs or engaging in story-time. Our infant program encourages children to follow their own established routines, while becoming comfortable and secure in a new group setting.
Kids & Company’s Toddler program is for children between the ages of roughly 18 months and 2.5 years. Toddlers are mobile and eager to explore their environment. As they strive for independence, our educators use an Emergent curriculum approach to learning that supports each child’s individuality. Some of the most important learning outcomes of our toddler program are language development, socialization, self-help skills, and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Kids & Company’s Preschool program is designed for children between the ages of roughly 2.5 - 5 years. Our educators interact, observe and interpret the interests of our children to encourage discoveries. Our Preschool program provides a foundation for developing greater independence and problem-solving skills; the program integrates new concepts into our children’s world view, promotes sharing and mutual respect, and prepares them for Kindergarten.
