Welcome to Kids & Company Surrey Professional Centre!
This location is conveniently located across the street from the Surrey Memorial Hospital, near the intersection of 96th Avenue and King George Blvd. We are easily accessible by car or transit, with designated underground parking spots for drop-off and pick-up.
Our location is proudly endorsed by Eco-Healthy Child Care®, a program that partners with child care professionals to eliminate environmental hazards in early learning settings with the goal of protecting the health of children and staff.
We have 6 classrooms that can accommodate 76 children from newborn to 5 years old. Our Infant, Toddler and Preschool programs are available on a full-time, part-time, or backup care basis.
Each of our spacious classrooms have large windows which let in natural light all day long. We also have a multi-age room where children can gather, as well as a small library to enjoy quiet time. Our rooftop play areas have sweeping views of the city landscape, a caterpillar climber, a toy house and shady areas.
At Kids & Company, we use an emergent curriculum and learn-through-play philosophy. This means classrooms are equipped with educational toys and Early Childhood Educators are there to readily guide children as their interests emerge. Classrooms are also equipped with password-protected webcams that parents can access throughout the day.
Children are provided with a hot lunch and 3 snacks each day, catered by our Kidco Kitchen. The Kidco Kitchen is founded on a fresh-from-scratch philosophy and our food contains no additives, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Learn more here.

There are Kids and Company parking spots in the parkade (P3-400,401 and P5-586,587). There is also there is short-term parking on the main floor.
Meet the Director
My name is Amie Jung, and I am the Centre Director of Surrey Professional Centre. I obtained my ECE Diploma from George Brown College, and I also hold an Associate Certificate in UI/UX from BCIT. I have been working in child care for more than 10 years. I find great fulfillment in working with children, as it brings me joy to support and make a positive difference in their lives. I have spent over a decade working with children, and with each passing year, I find myself becoming more creative, patient, and knowledgeable about the various ways children learn. At Kids & Company, I share the same values as the company regarding emergent curriculum and learning through play. Additionally, I feel fortunate to have supportive colleagues.
Kids & Company’s Infant program welcomes newborns up to roughly 15 months. Infants learn about the world around them through their senses, so exploration is critical to their development. Nurturing educators support the children while they take in their surroundings, encouraging them to experience everything the classroom offers; be it creative art, exploring with blocks, listening to songs or engaging in story-time. Our infant program encourages children to follow their own established routines, while becoming comfortable and secure in a new group setting.
Kids & Company’s Toddler program is for children between the ages of roughly 15 months and 2.9 years. Toddlers are mobile and eager to explore their environment. As they strive for independence, our educators use an Emergent curriculum approach to learning that supports each child’s individuality. Some of the most important learning outcomes of our toddler program are language development, socialization, self-help skills, and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Kids & Company’s Preschool program is designed for children between the ages of roughly 2.9 - 6 years. Our educators interact, observe and interpret the interests of our children to encourage discoveries. Our Preschool program provides a foundation for developing greater independence and problem-solving skills; the program integrates new concepts into our children’s world view, promotes sharing and mutual respect, and prepares them for Kindergarten.
