This unique site is located in the Rosedale Presbyterian Church near the intersection of Elm Ave. and Mount Pleasant, just behind Branksome Hall. There are two 15-minute parking spots available on South Dr., and more parking is available on Sherbourne St. which is just around the corner.
Our location is proudly endorsed by Eco-Healthy Child Care®, a program that partners with child care professionals to eliminate environmental hazards in early learning settings with the goal of protecting the health of children and staff.
We have 4 classrooms that can accommodate 50 children from ages 0 to 6 years old. Children can join the Infant, Toddler, or Preschool programs with the option of full-time or backup care. We also offer flex care at this location to accommodate families that have irregular schedules. Flex care allows you to pick the number of days you’d like your child to attend per week, and even lets you split the time between locations.
Classrooms are full of engaging toys and are equipped with webcams that parents can use to keep up to day with their child’s day. Outside the building is a beautifully treed area with private playgrounds in both the front and back of the building.
Children are provided with a hot lunch and 3 snacks each day, catered by our Kidco Kitchen. The Kidco Kitchen is founded on a fresh-from-scratch philosophy and our food contains no additives, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Learn more here.

Meet the Director
I am Dawnlesha Provo, the Centre Director of Kids & Company Stockyards. I hold an Early Childhood Education Diploma from George Brown College and have been working in child care for over 8 years. I am passionate about working in child care because I love children, enjoy making an impact on young children’s lives, and teaching while using my knowledge from the field to support and assist families. What I love most about working at Kids & Company is the opportunity to work with families and children from all different walks of life, as well as with teachers who are as passionate about the growth of children as I am.
Kids & Company’s Infant program welcomes newborns up to roughly 15 months. Infants learn about the world around them through their senses, so exploration is critical to their development. Nurturing educators support the children while they take in their surroundings, encouraging them to experience everything the classroom offers; be it creative art, exploring with blocks, listening to songs or engaging in story-time. Our infant program encourages children to follow their own established routines, while becoming comfortable and secure in a new group setting.
Kids & Company’s Toddler program is for children between the ages of roughly 15 months and 2.9 years. Toddlers are mobile and eager to explore their environment. As they strive for independence, our educators use an Emergent curriculum approach to learning that supports each child’s individuality. Some of the most important learning outcomes of our toddler program are language development, socialization, self-help skills, and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Kids & Company’s Preschool program is designed for children between the ages of roughly 2.9 - 6 years. Our educators interact, observe and interpret the interests of our children to encourage discoveries. Our Preschool program provides a foundation for developing greater independence and problem-solving skills; the program integrates new concepts into our children’s world view, promotes sharing and mutual respect, and prepares them for Kindergarten.
