Our homey Beltline location is just south of Calgary’s downtown core on the west side of the Beltline neighbourhood. This centre is convenient for those who live and work in the area or commute into the core from the south end of Calgary. Our programs are suited for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers on a full-time, part-time or backup care basis.
We have 4 sunny and spacious classrooms stocked with toys that support our emergent curriculum and learn-through-play philosophy. Each classroom is also equipped with a webcam for caregivers to check in throughout the day. Outside, we have three large playground areas separated by age group to allow for plenty of outdoor play throughout the year.
Children are provided with a hot lunch and 3 snacks each day, catered by our Kidco Kitchen. The Kidco Kitchen is founded on a fresh-from-scratch philosophy and our food contains no additives, preservatives, artificial flavours or colours. Learn more here.
Subsidies are accepted in Alberta for families who qualify. Contact the Centre Director for more information.

Meet the Director
I am Arcy Billington the Centre Director at Kids & Company Beltline. I have a Bachelor of Science, with a major in Psychology, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and have units to pursue a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I have been working in child care for over 15 years; I enjoy spending time with children and seeing how they develop and grow. I love how they appreciate the simplest things and reward you with their warm hugs and sweet smiles. Working with children never gets old. The continuous discovery, the never-ending “why’s”, and the boisterous laughs and giggles that are so real — it doesn’t get any better. I started at Kids & Company in 2016, and have been amazed to see how the company strives for the continuous development of children. Our Beltline location has a multicultural team that values and respects each other. We strive for harmony, accountability, and reliability. Each member is valued and plays a vital role in the team. No one is left behind and we work together to help one another!
Kids & Company’s Infant program welcomes newborns up to roughly 18 months. Infants learn about the world around them through their senses, so exploration is critical to their development. Nurturing educators support the children while they take in their surroundings, encouraging them to experience everything the classroom offers; be it creative art, exploring with blocks, listening to songs or engaging in story-time. Our infant program encourages children to follow their own established routines, while becoming comfortable and secure in a new group setting.
Kids & Company’s Toddler program is for children between the ages of roughly 18 months and 2.5 years. Toddlers are mobile and eager to explore their environment. As they strive for independence, our educators use an Emergent curriculum approach to learning that supports each child’s individuality. Some of the most important learning outcomes of our toddler program are language development, socialization, self-help skills, and the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Kids & Company’s Preschool program is designed for children between the ages of roughly 2.5 - 5 years. Our educators interact, observe and interpret the interests of our children to encourage discoveries. Our Preschool program provides a foundation for developing greater independence and problem-solving skills; the program integrates new concepts into our children’s world view, promotes sharing and mutual respect, and prepares them for Kindergarten.
